TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SEARCH
Watch Search Agreement
This Agreement is made between CRNO Solutions Ltd (“CRNO”), and you (“the Client”).
1. Service Overview
Upon payment of the applicable fee, the Client may submit watch serial number searches through the CRNO platform (app or portal).
CRNO conducts searches across multiple databases, including its own records and those of trusted third-party partners, to determine whether a watch has been reported as lost, stolen, or otherwise flagged.
2. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
Provide complete, accurate, and truthful information when submitting a search
Ensure all submitted data is correct at the time of entry
Failure to provide sufficient or accurate information may result in an incomplete search, and no refund will be issued in such circumstances.
3. Nature of Search Results
Search results reflect the status of a watch at the exact time the search is conducted
The status of a watch may change over time
Clients are advised to conduct a new search at every transaction stage
CRNO provides a due diligence tool only.
Not all lost or stolen watches are recorded on CRNO or partner databases.
A search result does not replace the need to:
Verify the seller’s identity
Confirm ownership history
Authenticate the watch independently
4. Match Found Protocol
If a match is identified on any database:
The Client will be notified immediately
The Client should, where safe and lawful, retain the watch if it is in their possession
The Client agrees to cooperate with CRNO, law enforcement, insurers, and relevant parties
This may include providing:
Seller identity
Contact details
Transaction information
Important: The Client must not take any action that could endanger themselves or others.
5. Data Sharing and Partner Disclosure
CRNO operates across multiple trusted data partners.
In the event of a match:
CRNO may share the Client’s details and the seller’s details with:
Law enforcement agencies
Insurance companies
Theft victims or their representatives
Relevant database partners where the match originated
Additionally, where a match is found on a partner database, CRNO may pass relevant search details to that partner to support investigation and recovery efforts.
6. Consent and Data Protection
The Client must:
Inform the seller that a search is being conducted
Obtain explicit consent from the seller for their data to be processed and shared in the event of a match
By submitting a search, the Client confirms they have obtained this consent.
All data is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
7. Certificates
Certificates issued by CRNO reflect database search results only
They do not confirm authenticity of the watch
CRNO reserves the right not to issue a certificate where:
Counterfeit indicators are identified
Data is incomplete or inconsistent
8. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute:
Parties will first attempt to resolve the matter amicably
If unsuccessful, mediation will be pursued before legal proceedings
The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
