  • You can register a watch in the CRNO app by:

    1. Selecting Add Watch in the CRNO app

    2. Uploading supporting documents (receipt, certificate, service history)

    3. Entering the serial number

    4. Arranging authentication (if applicable)

    Once added, the watch is securely linked to your CRNO profile.

  • No Match Found means that no matching records have been identified at this time across CRNO and partnered databases.

    This does not guarantee absolute verification, but it indicates that the watch is not currently recorded as stolen or flagged.

  • ItemMatch Found means a matching record has been identified.

    This may indicate:

    • The watch has been reported stolen

    • The serial number appears in a partnered database

    • A conflicting or duplicate record exists

    Further review may be required. description

  • Under Investigation means the status is pending further review.

    This may occur if:

    • A database response is queued or referred

    • Conflicting information has been detected

    • Manual verification is required

    CRNO will update the status once review is complete.

  • Yes. CRNO works with law-enforcement and partnered recovery services by:

  • If your watch does not have a serial number, CRNO cannot currently list it on our database.

    However, CRNO is developing a bespoke serial-number engraving service, delivered through approved specialist partners, which will be introduced soon.

    All authentication is completed by qualified professionals, not automated systems alone.

  • Only authorised parties can view specific information, including:

    • You (the owner)

    • Approved insurers (with permission)

    • Law-enforcement (where legally required)

    CRNO does not sell user data.

  • CRNO applies strict access controls to all personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and recognised information-security standards, including ISO/IEC 27001 principles.

    User personal data is not shared, disclosed, or made accessible by default. Access to personal information may be granted only to authorised CRNO partners where such access is necessary, proportionate, and lawful for the delivery of a specific service or investigation.

    In all cases, personal data is disclosed solely following explicit, informed user consent, provided through the CRNO application. Access is logged, restricted, and auditable, and limited to the minimum data required for the stated purpose.

    Without user authorisation, no third party is able to view or access personal data.
