Victim of Watch Theft?
Stronger Together: CRNO Partners with Recipero to Strengthen Watch Recovery
Recipero Partnership
Supporting Watch Owners Before and After Theft
At CRNO, our mission has always been simple: make luxury watches harder to steal, harder to sell, and easier to recover.
That's why we're proud to be partnering with Recipero, the organisation behind the National Mobile Property Register (NMPR), one of the UK's leading property intelligence platforms used by police forces across the country.
What does this mean for CRNO members?
When you register your watch with CRNO, the relevant serial number information can also be made visible within the NMPR ecosystem, significantly increasing the chances of your watch being identified if it comes to police attention.
Your watch is no longer only visible within the CRNO network. It can also be identified through one of the UK's most powerful property intelligence systems, giving law enforcement another route to trace ownership and contact CRNO for verification and support.
A network built for recovery
As of 2026, the NMPR contains:
Over 1 billion historic property records.
More than 7 million used property trade attempts monitored every month across 14 countries.
Over 200,000 police searches every month by 60 UK law enforcement agencies.
Hundreds of thousands of retail sales and purchases.
Tens of thousands of insurance claim records and insurer interest.
More than 6,000 pre-loss ownership registrations.
More than 5,000 post-loss reports.
Every one of these touchpoints creates another opportunity for a registered serial number to be identified.
Why this matters
When a watch is stolen, recovery depends on one thing: visibility.
By combining CRNO's ownership verification platform with the reach of the NMPR, we're helping ensure registered watches are visible where they matter most.
This partnership helps:
Increase the visibility of your watch's serial number across UK policing.
Enable officers to identify a CRNO-registered watch quickly and contact us for ownership verification.
Strengthen recovery opportunities while protecting your personal information.
Support the rejection of stolen property from legitimate trade channels.
This is another major milestone in CRNO's mission to build the UK's most connected luxury watch protection network—bringing together owners, retailers, insurers, authenticators and law enforcement to make watch crime increasingly difficult.
One registration. Two powerful networks. One stronger chance of recovery.
Already Been the Victim of Theft or Loss?
If your watch was lost or stolen before you registered with CRNO, we strongly recommend reporting it through Report My Loss.
Report My Loss is a police-supported service operated by Recipero that places your report into the National Mobile Property Register (NMPR), making your watch's serial number visible to police forces across the UK and helping insurers verify legitimate loss reports.
Through CRNO's partnership with Recipero, your reported watch can also become visible through the CRNO ecosystem, helping both participating police forces and retailers identify watches that have been reported lost or stolen and strengthening recovery opportunities.
CRNO is designed to help before theft happens. By registering your watch with CRNO today, you create a verified ownership record that can significantly strengthen the chances of proving ownership and recovering your watch should the worst ever happen.
Don't wait until after a theft. Protect your watch today by registering it with CRNO and making it visible where it matters most
